Cedar Grove's history dates back to the early 1700's when Thomas Jacobus purchased the entire valley from Native Americans and large farms were developed. Preserving the town's agricultural past is the 14.5-acre Morgan's Farm, the last farm in Cedar Grove. The site includes a recreational area providing ice skating, walking trails, picnic areas and the Canfield-Morgan farmhouse. The farmhouse (1850) is being restored as an education center.
